I am not lucky enough to be one of those "Naturally Beautiful" women. It takes WORK for me to be beautiful (actually the other day I was adding up how much I spend on " beauty" stuff each month and I am EXPENSIVE to maintain....just a little side note) so this is why makeup makes me happy. Just this morning I was in one of those moods where everything was hard, getting up was hard, spin class was hard, showering was hard, doing my hair was really hard and all I wanted to do was climb back in bed. Then I started my makeup and I noticed that the better I looked the better I felt. So I did not climb back in bed, I found a cute outfit I had not worn in awhile, put on some cute jewelry and came to work happy. Today makeup changed my whole attitude and that makes me happy.
